I saw this book on the shelf and picked it up because I simply liked the colors. (I'm a visual person)I was attracted to it. I read a couple of the pages and thought, wow this is an easy read ( I'm not a huge fan of long drawn out explainations). After going straight to the section of the book I was interested in I was thoroughly pleased with the information, advice and funny descriptions of certain locations. After putting this book to the test and actually visiting the locations mentioned, I have to say I absolutely love this book!!!! The author is on point. Some of the info has to be updated because some establishments are no longer in business other than that. OLIVER HILL I LOVE YOUR BOOK.

I browsed a few travel books on Jamaica and found this one to be one of the better ones. It is very clear, concise and has great info. I especially like the accommodations section with detailed contact info (phone number, email, website, etc. the price is always accurate due to seasonal fluctuations) and recommended itinerary tailored to different travelers.
